Our instructor was an actual gem; they were very attentive during our entire game – not even giving us any gutter balls (which is probably why we had such a good time). This place would be great for bigger groups too – e.g., birthdays or office parties – especially if you want something other than boring beers & burgers! Highly recommend it…now excuse me while I get my bowling shoes on again ; ) – I

Highly recommend you try this activity out soon if you’re looking for something different but loads of laughs. – M

If you’re looking for an amazing hangout spot with a lively atmosphere, then this is it! Not only do they host the coolest DJs and bands around but also have axe-throwing to enjoy. The only downside may be that the bartenders get annoyed when patrons act up – so mind your manners folks or prepare yourself ‘for battle’ against them! – C

Our instructor threw axes like he was taken right out of The Walking Dead – zombie apocalypse? Not with him on our team. Even better, an attendant provided us with all the safety instructions plus helpful advice for nailing those bullseyes. I don’t think any of us knew what to expect when booking our spot online a week ago, but who would have known it’d be so much fun spinning four little axes at once?! We’ll definitely be back before you know it – afterall, how often do you get to act out your teenage-movie fantasies? – J

Whether you are a first-timer or an old pro, this place is sure to keep you entertained! They provide plenty of ‘ammo’, knowledgeable staff with helpful tips and the parking’s not too shabby. I had a smashing time here! The staff was superb, and our trainer Alex absolutely rocked. In no time at all I went from zero to hero with ax-throwing – thanks to masterful mentorship by Alex. It may be slightly steep in price (for mere mortals like us!) but for $30/hr or $40 for 90 mins you get an amazing coach thrown into the mix plus some draft beers and snacks on top – what more do ya need? Well, okay it could use a kitchen too..but that’s just me getting picky – T

Kraken’s ax throwing experience blew me away with its hilarity and sheer difficulty! Jimmy and Mike were the perfect hosts, giving us a warm welcome in addition to teaching us how to safely handle our new weapons. If you’re looking for an unforgettable time that’ll have you laughing one minute then feeling like Katniss Everdeen the next—Kraken is definitely worth checking out! – M

My son and I visited Bullseye Lane Axe Throwing for a weekend of good old-fashioned axe throwing (who knew that was even an option?). We prepped with some great tips from the experts, then let loose! Surprisingly, our hits trumped expectations. If you’re searching for something fun on your next free day – trust me – this one’s worth a shot(put). Bottom line: it’s guaranteed to provide both thrills and chills! – D

If you’re looking for a spot to show off your skills with an axe, this may not be the place. Our experience here was less than exciting and we had more fun at other locations! We wouldn’t recommend spending extra money on their fancy lane with digital score keeping – it’s just not worth it when there isn’t even any booze or food nearby (not cool). At least staff were nice…oh well, hopefully our next outing won’t leave us feeling so disappointed. – B

Ax-perts: Proceed with Caution! We took a gamble on axe throwing and were left feeling seriously shortchanged. The staff was lovely, but for the cost of TWO lanes ($140/hour), you’d expect more than porta potties, no heater and an overly worn target that made it difficult to stick any axes?! And don’t forget about dodging raindrops under their tiny overhang; not exactly worth writing home about. Six axpersons couldn’t even comfortably fit in one lane – talk about stingy! Save your coins folks – there are plenty of other spots near by where you can fling steel without buyer’s remorse(cue evil laugh). – K

At this amazing facility, you’ll find helpful staff and a nice owner. The place is sparkling clean – almost too good to shoot targets in! Fortunately they’re coming up with something really cool: digital concept games projected on the wall. My only gripe? You get 75 minutes for your money but 30 of that goes to training; it’s like paying full price for half-price fries! Let’s hope they extend playtime or don’t start until after training so we can enjoy every last second of target practice fun. – B

Are you exhausted from searching for quality customer service? Look no further! Our experience with owner Dana was nothing short of amazing. She cheerfully took the time to hear all our requests – decorations, food, drinks and even a gender reveal balloon (to be popped by axe)! At Dagar they’ve got a great range of beers going for cheap prices – no food options unfortunately BUT you can bring your own snacks! Our vivacious guide made my daughter’s day when he gave her a good sport award (outta his own pocket!) – turns out that even though she medaled in track while college couldn’t save her from an unfortunate single stick performance… luckily it didn’t put too much damper on the fun atmosphere! Oh yeah – did I mention? Most employees were veterans so we raised some glasses both literally-and figuratively to thank them for their service before concluding what ended up being one really enjoyable afternoon!! – S

Kenny’s crew was all set for a night of exciting fun, only to be greeted by an event whiter than the paper plates they served from. With nowhere to throw out their beers, attendees had no choice but enter without one – only later learning that rule didn’t apply when it came time for those behind the counter! Throw till you drop seemed like their plan B until boredom kicked in faster then expected: mini golf with accompanying kids appeared more appealing and twice as entertaining! A little on the pricier side compared to some of the other venues on the list, but with a quirky Viking twist, it’s pretty fun. Ragnarok Axe Throwing has both instructors for a fun day trip and open throwing for those more experienced with the sport who just want to get some practice in.

Large space, a big bar and it’s hard to go wrong with Flying Squirrel. WATL leagues and a cold draft. Easily one of the top 3 picks for the city.

What a delightful time! From the moment we entered, it was like being welcomed by our long-lost friends. Not only did they give us great instruction but also made sure to check in with words of encouragement and see if there’s anything else we needed – talk about hospitality! We now have more skillz than before, ready for round two at this super fun place that wholeheartedly deserves all kinds of recommendations from us. – J

This place was jaw-droppingly awesome! It had enough space to hurl an axe at a target and our super friendly host Max provided us with all the intel we needed on their sizzling hot ax throwing league. My husband even got an ace axe as a birthday gift – how cool is that? We can’t wait for our next visit already – prepare yourselves, targets! – E

Anarchy Axe Throwing

One of the bigger venues, but there are not that many lanes. They do have WATL leagues for experienced throwers looking to get into the competition side of things or an escape room if you want to combine something else into a day out.

Oscar sure brought the “ax”e to our location! Us and our drinks (Boom Shackalacha, Knock You On Your Ax) had a blast—my husband and I couldn’t have been happier we chose that axe session. – R

We brought our whole family to this place and had a blast! The service was absolutely superb – we couldn’t have asked for better. They even provided an on-site bar, which made the evening that much more enjoyable. Thankfully, they gave us just enough time to start up some epic axe throwing competitions with no worries about running out of turns or scoring games taking too long; it allowed each and every one of the six members in attendance to fling axes like professionals (even if none of them are professionalaxethrowers). – C

The Legendary Axe Indy

You don’t need to book this venue, but it’s cheaper if you do, so I wouldn’t just show up. One of the smaller venues and doesn’t really offer anything unique. They do list leagues but nothing seems to really be running.
