If you’re looking for Fort Worth axe throwing, you have so many choices. Way more than most cities. Whether you’re looking to get into the axe throwing sport or just have some fun throwing an axe around, you’ve a bunch of choices.
Some of these are definitely better than others if you’re actually interested in the sport and some make for a great event venue.
Our #1 Pick: Splinters Axes & Ales – Axe Throwing
As the name would probably suggest these guys are more of a bar than a axe throwing practice spot but I’m not saying that to take away from the venue and they do have competitive leagues. They’re a member of the World Axe Throwing League, their staff know their stuff and they have a good selection on tap.
Talk about your most exclusive, VIP experience! 6 of us were chillin’ like villains in an ice-storm induced staycation at this remarkable venue. Nothing but awesome vibes emanating from Andrew and the crew as we indulged in a round (or two!) on their 8 lanes with 16 boards – all to ourselves! Realistic prices for prime entertainment? You betcha. Obnoxious evening drinkers having too much fun? Yes please; that just goes with the territory ’round here 😉 Highly recommend it & will be back soon…with reinforcements!! – S

Bad Axe Throwing Fort Worth
Hard to go wrong with Bad Axe Throwing. A larger chain and we’ve been to some of their other venues, it’s a solid choice. From walk-ins to organized events, they do it all.
It was an ax-cellent experience with Kat as our coach! She sharpened up my skills and made throwing axes even more fun. We had a truly wonderful time, so if you’re looking for some axe-citing action I’d recommend booking with Kat – trust me she’s worth it!. Let the axes fly…I’ll be back soon! – L

Grab Your Axe, Fort Worth Axe Throwing
Grab Your Axe combined something I tried to do years ago. They added some technology to give us a bowling type score screen and project targets like zombies onto the board. Easily one of my favorite if you want a bit of fun and make sure you play the axe throwers version of Connect Four!
Looking for an adventurous night with friends? Look no further than Axe Throwing in DFW! Noah and Omar will show you the way to a party that’s BYOB, so grab your favorite drink, crank up some music, and get ready to throw axes like it’s 1283. You won’t forget this wild experience anytime soon! – M

King Of Cowtown Axe Throwing
Honestly, this wouldn’t be my first suggestion. It’s a bit bear-bones but not the worst practice spot if you’re familiar with the sport and just need somewhere to throw.
Whether you’re looking for a place to relax with friends, or wanting to make your mark by conquering the seemingly-impossible axe challenge – this venue has it all! Not only are their staff as helpful and delightful as can be, but they also let you bring your own food and drinks. Plus, if fortune (and bicep strength) favors thee… an honored spot on the illustrious Wall of Honor awaits thy name! An absolutely fantastic experience that one should definitely partake in again soon – don’t miss out folks! – W

Our work outing and retirement celebration was an absolute blast! The staff were so friendly, the tunes were bumping, and a BYOB policy? Now that’s what you call A+ service. Flanneljax’s Axe Throwing Fort Worth (Roanoke)
My friend and I were in frantic search of a fun spot to hit up tonight, but everything was closed! But then we stumbled upon this place with Will (our instructor) at the helm. Thankfully Sebastian had his back as they showed us an awesome time – even though it was last minute. Highly recommend these guys for giving us such a memorable evening despite our impromptuness – K
