This place is a real hoot! It has all the amenities for an axe-cellent time, from its full kitchen and bar to throwing axes with Matt – he’s simply awesome. Plus, if you’re feeling restless while waiting your turn there are lots of games on the wall to keep you entertained. Get into it now or else be left out in the cold (literally)! – M

If you’ve been looking for something to liven up your date night routine, look no further! At our axe-throwing tournament – complete with a friendly yet fiercely competitive bracket system and staffed by the incredibly knowledgeable master axer named Rex – we had an absolute blast. And after all of that throwing? We hung around at the bar because it was such a great atmosphere – not only did they have tasty food and good drinks but also plenty of games beyond just axes. If there’s ever another chance I get to come back (which honestly can’t be soon enough), I know where I’m headed: Axeing Paradise! – K

Girls night out at Detroit Axe was an absolute hit! DAVID, our passionate and vivacious instructor had us all in stitches. Even though none of us were axe-throwing virgins, we were still a little bit afraid – but he made sure the atmosphere (and food) was anything but nerve wracking…not to mention scrumptious! The chicken sandwich alone is definitely worth trying – it’s like every Frisbee throw you’ve ever taken wrapped up into one delicious bite 😉 All in all everyone on staff there couldn’t have been any friendlier; what more could anyone want?! – N

Whoa, talk about a hot time! But don’t worry – the folks at this establishment were as kind and courteous as they come. Our instructor, Matthew was an awesome dynamo who could make even the most mundane activities fun. Our axe-throwing adventure was far from the thrilling time we were hoping for. It felt like a jail sentence, with an overbearing guard barking instructions at us right up until our sentences ended and it was suddenly time to go home without any fun! We had expected more after all of our prior experience in this field but instead found ourselves stuck doing lame practice throws each one supervised by someone who clearly believed they knew better than anyone else – talk about no good times :/ – S

When I paid good money to axe-throwing school, the instructor was way too serious for fun. He told me off when my technique didn’t match his instructions but guess what? When I threw it according to my own style instead of being a robot like him – bam! Bull’s eyes right in front of him! It wasn’t easy paying attention after that experience and he made sure this novice only got 10 throws out before we were done with our “lesson”. – F
