We were so eager to enjoy a meal at the brewery that we showed up 90 minutes early! And boy, did it pay off – Royce welcomed us and taught us everything we needed for an evening of fun. Not only was our experience worth every penny (which equates to $25 bucks per person) but it enticed us enough that now there’s nothing stopping us from bringing all our buddies along next time! – H

All in all, the three of us had an epic time with our brilliant instructor Sawyer! It was a totally unusual and enjoyable experience, made even sweeter when we nailed it right to center. – H

The friendly owner at this establishment makes sure everyone is on target with their throws, while Stormbreaker’s delicious food and drinks are just an axe-throw away! Our fun-filled foursome had a blast at the axe throwing range! Little did our 13 year old know that they were in for an adventure beyond their wildest expectations – Sawyer, our lovable and patient coach, welcomed us with open arms. He schooled us on all things axes; from origin stories to body mechanics so we could hit those bullseyes like pros. With his help (and some good luck!) what started as novice thrusters of hafts quickly morphed into seasoned sharpshooters…so much so that even VR games now seem tame by comparison! Guess who’s making another trip down Portland way? – L

We had a great time at Portland Ax Throwing! We arrived to the venue with ample time, giving us an opportunity for some delicious grub and frosty drinks from StormBreaker Brewing. Our instructor Sawyer was funny as heck and gave us just the instructions we needed—it made it all so much fun!It was perfect date night between my better half and me…we’ll definitely be back real soon. – M

We had an axe-cellent time at our birthday celebration! Our instructor was sharp, welcoming and full of knowledge. We threw for hours – throwing axes that is – until we decided to purchase one as a souvenir! Either way it’s a great option whether you’re looking for date night activities or team building exercises with the staff. – D

We had an axecellent time at Portland Axe Throwing! Celebrating my friend’s 30th birthday with a group of 12 was one for the books. After some last minute rearranging, our hosts made us feel like we were family and organized a super competitive 3-round tournament to make sure there wasn’t any friendly rivalry left in the air… by the evening it felt more like brotherly love than throwing sharp objects around (wink wink). Who knew that a few hours with Eilif could turn us from throwing-rookies into axe pros? We were skeptical at first but the experience ended up being way better than we expected! Our target soon met its demise as our axes sailed through the air and sunk right in. Talk about satisfying! If you want to learn something new, compete against your friends, or just get an active group activity – look no further. With this guy’s passion for teaching coupled with his expert knowledge of different handles/styles/sports – you can’t go wrong with giving it a shot – E
